It skips over everything so fast that you don't get any important details whatsoever. There's hardly any need to say how much is omitted from the novel since that is the case. It's pretty much exactly the same as the anime(everything you read in the manga except for the special chapters are portrayed in just about exactly the same way in the anime), there's hardly any difference, only that the manga omits a lot more details compared to the anime. Why? Well, the main issue is the pacing being ridiculous. There's no way it can be rated as above average(6+). It's clear that it must've received its ridiculously high score by fanboys and fangirls that didn't even care to evaluate it properly. also, it could be that the moon is made out of cheese. Yeh, yeh it could be that maybe in near future such a MMORPG could exist under the right conditions, right. And the MC is more powerful than all End-bosses in an typical MMORPG together. At the point where doped this manga, this was the former HQ of a Guild of 41 people in a MMORPG, where Guild has at their disposal an army of many(!) 10.000-s low- and mid-level Monster/NPCs, many super strong NPCs, super rare magic artifacts en mass and gold piled up like in Dagobert Duck Tresor. But for example, on the down side, it seems that their Tomb (Basis of the MC which got transferred to the new wold too) gets bigger and bigger with every chapter.

#R manga overlord how to
Well, the art is way better than standard manga (which is easy to do IF you know how to draw) and I really liked the depiction of the Lizardman society and the characters there, to name the two positive points.

So story don't get forward and if, the story jumps to somewhere not mentioned before. The Fights are way to long and boring(sic!), every third panel there is a new skill/spell with a useless megalomaniac name which nobody has ever heard of before (with the exception of Fireball).
